Binta and the Great Idea

In the movie or short film "bita and The Great Idea" I did expect the film to end the way it did. It showed how Africa is changing and are willing to make a better life for themselves. Brita's father's idea was a good idea to have them get a machine to have a better way to fish.(which i think that was the idea) I think it was good idea because the way he wanted to change the economy was better for him and his family but the whole country.

In the Film Bita and The Great Idea. Brita's cousin Soda was a girl that wanted to go to school. But her father did not want her to go because he wanted her to stay home and cook and cleam for the family just like his wife. His fears were to that it was not good to teach women about knowledge and education. In my opinion i think that is a horrible way of thinking, i personally don't know anyone who is like that. Excuse my langguage but that is the most subborn pigheaded way of thinking not to educate a women. They even made a point the children there that made a play out of Soda's life. That ten years later all the other kids were educated and became doctors lawyers any thing you can think of and she will still be at home taking care of the children with no use in the world.

The idea's about education is that to experiance the new ways in the world to know how things work. In my educationa experiences that you cannot put limits to the youth. Espcially education. Education is the backbone of society, without education you will go no wher eyou will be nothing. Having education has more then just learning, its a whole new way of venturing out and realizing how many things are around you and how much you want to learn.

Do you ever ponder on who you are? when you were little did you ever think who am i going to be? Where will i be in 10 years? i thought about that alot. But i never thought i'd actually come up with what kind of person i am today. I know where I want to go and how I can get to that point. My story of who i am is probably not much to read about , but at the same time what is here on this paper is worth while reading.

The experiences thaat i have gone throught has brought me to where i can understand people around me. How thier beliefs and there opinions work torward to their own lives as well as others. One thing that i will always will remember within my schooling is to always keep moving forward. Moving forward got me to this class. Moving forward got me to know where i want to go after Moraine. Moving forward got me to have a great family that supports me. Knowing where I am going has my life content and a great outlook of life.
